NJ does some good things for animals and then takes 2 steps back, and screws it up. Stop it NOW Call now
New Jersey lawmakers want to pass two bills that would expand inhumane and unsporting hunting practices. One of them would establish a new bow and arrow season in the summer months, when mother deer are nursing dependent fawns. The second bill would allow farmers to kill animals if they are of a species that “might” do harm to crops and pastures. The result: animals posing no problem will be killed for their mere presence.
Both bills create a huge loophole for out-of-season hunting and wild animal orphaning. Please call Speaker Vincent Prieto at 201-770-1303 and Asmblymbr. Christopher Brown (609) 654-1498 and Asmblymbr. Maria Rodriguez-Gregg (609) 654-1498 and urge opposition to both bad wildlife bills, A. 3120 and A. 3121.
